I love my new Dasaita radio so far. Had to replace my OEM faulty radio and this Dasaita was the best option. Installing it was a bit challenging at first because everything worked fine except the audio (no audio at all), but a quick search in the Dasaita community I found the solution (one of the cables had to stay unplugged). Also, I noticed there was a low static noise in the background, and Dasaita support sent me steps on how to upgrade the MCU.
Now that everything is working fine, I am enjoying my new radio.
Very good unit, easy to install and a big facelift for my car
I have to admit that I was a little hesitant about spending this kind of money on a solution from a company without stateside tech support.
Thankfully, my fears were unfounded. Dasaita support was super responsive and knowledgeable and helped me solve all of my issues.
I do think that there should be the option to include the RCA Adapter with one's order -- I see this as a frequently cited issue in Accord Forums.
Otherwise, the unit works as expected. Good DSP, flawless Carplay, and, most importantly, it retains the functionality of the second display, as well as the built-in microphone, backup camera, and lane-watch camera. As far as I know, in Dec 2024, Dasaita provides the only direct replacement solution other than OEM.
I had a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with V6 Engine.
When we first installed the unit i had an audio disturbance issue and reached out to Dasaita Customer service. And they found out that my car had factory amplifier and it needs the below RCA Harness.
They shipped the RCA Harness for free and sent me the installation instructions.Overall I liked the Car Stereo features which i use mainly for apple car play and also the dasaita backup camera is High Quality.
