The "amplified" JBL stereo in the Toyota Tundra is mediocre at best. I struggled with phone connectivity and the sound was pathetic. I chose to start with the Dasaita Vivid13 headunit after loads of research due to the price, features, upgradeability and warranty. The installation videos online are excellent and I was able to work through every question by referencing the videos from start to finish. I did run into 1 small issue when testing the backup camera. After powering down to switch the video cables the unit would not power back up. I pulled and checked the fuse in the back of the headunit and it immediately came back to life. Maybe interrupted initial startup? Overall - Apple carplay is a dream compared to entune! Sound quality is vastly improved!! The equalizer is expansive. I am very happy with the purchase and thrilled with the results. The Tundra comes with a weak 8"sub which was barely audible with the stock unit. It was noticeably improved and even better now that I swapped it out with a direct fit low profile Pioneer sub. The features and expandability of the Vivid13 make an excellent starting point for upgrading the Tundra sound system. The Screen is beautiful but shows fingerprints badly (carry microfiber cloth). Added sound proofing in the doors and now stock system has completely transformed.

Overall very gappy with this u it. Only a few small issues like the launcher.. it's bad.. I thought It was going g to be Vivid launcher which I wasn't a big fan of.. but turned out to have Scout launcher. which is almost as bad. The cards are dark static blocks with a generic map on the navigation card. No album art for spotify on those cards either.. why not?
My biggest complaint is this launcher is not very attractive.
The display is very bright and clear. Sound quality is a nice improvement over stock. Simple plug and play install. Definitely a 4 out of 5, but for the love of God, fix that ugly launcher, let us put Google Maps in place of
Scout. for navigation and control over modifying those cards.

Have had the unit for a little over a month. Great unit, My only complain is that I have to disconnect my Bluetooth in order for my music to play. I haven't been able to fix this issue.

An amazing stereo upgrade. Huge crystal clear screen. Perfect integration with easy install. The best customer service I've ever had. Quick to answer any and all questions and help to solve any issues.
