USB stopped working


  • I have PX6, Android 11. Using it in my 2014 Toyota Corolla. USBs suddenly stopped working yesterday. There are three USBs, two shared and one separate. None of them work. 

    Any advice?

  • @Srdjan Maksimovic did you try to reset the unit? A full cold boot.


  • @Srdjan Maksimovic We are wondering if you could remove all the cables and then reconnect and factory reset the head unit. Please kindly go to Settings > System > Factory reset


  • Data clear updates for firmware updates. I removed the cable and started it ahead, but I do not recognize USB. Are there any other solutions?@Support Dasaita

    In order to locate the exact model&version you got,
    please provide us with following information: Order Number & Purchase Date.
    2、
    Usually, the unit will come with 2*USB cables, one is single USB, another one is dual USB.
    Please check whether both USB cables cannot work.
    3、
    If possible, please try to use other USB drives to test whether it can be recognized.

    Model name: Vivid10-cp-hd-cb006, Eight Core
    Both cables do not work. I have tried multiple USB drives but they are not recognized.

    If possible, please insert SD card to test if it can be recognized.
    Besides, please try to do factory reset:
    Settings > System > Reset Options > Erase all date(factory reset).
    If it doesn't work for above operation, please go Settings > About Machine > Model; Android Version; Build Number; MCU version, 
    then send its photo to us.

    The SD card was recognized and I was able to update the firmware from there.
    The USB LED does not blink when I plug in the USB.

    However, we notice that your picture version is MAX11.
    Please tell us whether you tried to do any updates.


  • Yes, I updated to max11. It doesn't solve the problem.

    Usually, we don't recommend to do the mandatory installation for other Android system and UI version because it will cause the potential damage to the machine and make some functions cannot work.


  • I updated the firmware to the px6 android11 ​​vivid10 specifications, then updated to vivid11.
