@Sergio Arredondo It seems that you have unzip the update file when you copy it into the USB?
@Support Dasaita im not sure , i dont know how unzip/zip works ? could you explain please ?
This is what i transfer from dropbox to my usb drive on my computer@Support Dasaita@Iker Gomez
@Sergio Arredondo Do you have an computer? We recommend you format the USB and then copy the update.zip file through a computer or laptop.
@Support Dasaita i already did that lots and lots of times it still doesnt work !!!!
Its been a whole month and you guys still dont fix my problem !!!@Support Dasaita
@Sergio Arredondo It seems that you have not followed the steps that we send it for you to update the firmware. Please make sure that the procedure is correct which could be much helpful. We really appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
@Support Dasaita i followed your instructions for over a whole month , your a robot you repeat the same bullshit and dont help , its okay im done im throwing away this stupid unit and i dont recommend ANYBODY buying from dasaita products , have a good day
@Sergio Arredondo You're putting the zip file contents on the flash drive incorrectly. To explain: "Zip" files are compressed archives of a collection of files. You can either move the .zip file itself to the flash drive (which is correct) or you can "extract" the contents of the zip file to the drive (incorrect). When done correctly, the contents of the flash drive should just be "update.zip" and no other files shown. It looks like you were extracting the zip file to the flash drive. The head unit won't find the update that way. It looks for the update.zip file itself.
Then "System update" will work. The MCU update is the same process except with an MCU file.
@Jeff Johnson thank you so much for taking your time to help and explain it finally worked !!
@Sergio Arredondo Excellent! Glad the update is working for you! Hopefully it helps with issues you're having. I've been pretty pleased with the G12 in my Jeep after updating the firmware and MCU.
@Jeff Johnson yes it finally works smoothly i was so disappointed but that all changed , the problem was the music kept stuttering now it works perfectly !! I have it on my 2011 honda accord , thank you so much again ! I was almost going to buy a new radio
