Can the contact list be sorted? In the calling app they appear ordered by last name, I would like to sort it by first name, if not it is quite confusing

Impossible to organize, in addition, the application is quite rudimentary. Calls are minimized on the screen at the bottom right with an arrow in a green box and the entire bottom part of the screen is blocked, you cannot press anything at all.
I have tried changing the app to Google Phone but it won't let me set it as default
