If your system is functioning properly, we recommend not to perform any upgrades!!!
Upgrading poses risks, such as POTENTIALCRASH, BLACK SCREEN, OR SYSTEM ERROR. However, if your system is experiencing major bugs that prevent normal use, we advise considering an upgrade to resolve these issues.
Please contact your dealer to ensure you are selecting the correct firmware and following the appropriate update steps.
1.Please download the document through the link via your computer/laptop.
2.Please make sure to format the USB drive(FAT32 Format)/SD card before copying the update file to it.
3.Please ONLY put Update.zip file into the USB drive/SD card, and then insert the USB drive into the USB cable.
*Please note that all data on this unit needs to be wiped before updating the system, so back up important data if necessary. You could refer to topic: How to update firmware
@Support Dasaita G12 version which was released on the date 20240322 could be update via OTA(system update online). It has improved the Carplay sound quality. You could make sure that your MCU is 4.11 and the Carplay version is the latest 5.4.36
Note:The carplay version is beta, please feel free to give us feedback through this topic, we will try our best to improve it.
Good new, our new version G12 supports the OBD connection now. You should update the firmware to the latest and make sure that the MCU is the latest 4.11(if your MCU is not, you could send me a private message for it). And you should update the Bluetooth module to the latest. (Go to Factory settings>enter hctbtup to update Bluetooth.)
Hi all, if your G12 has sufferred glitches or suddenly black screen, please go to System update and update to the latest 20230322 firmware. In the meanwhile, you should make sure that the MCU is the latest 4.11.
Regarding to the latest Vivid11, the left widget's map could be customized, suggest Google Map and Scout Map, but note that the USER settings contains screen lock has been blocked in some country due to local policy. We are improving now and hope you could understand.
