TPMS built-in app - Toyota car

  • Is it possible to use TPMS built-in app to see data from stock Toyota tpms system?

I have a C-HR that already has tpms system from the manufacturer

  • @Mcgyver83 Have you found the Tire info apps on the head unit? If you have the OEM TPMS, you could see the tire information in the following apps.

  • @Support Dasaita yes, I usually use this one.
This morning I saw the TMPS app in apps list on the screen and I though I can use this with OEM TPMS but was not working.

Ok, I don't have dasaita TPMS so I can also disable TPMS in the hidden settings menu, right?

About your screenshot: I see BAR pressure unit (bottom right), I have Kpa instead. Is it possible to switch to BAR as is shown in your screenshot?

  • @Mcgyver83 We would like to tell you that changing Kpa to BAR need to be operated on your car's steering control, it could not be changed on the head unit.

Dasaita TPMS apps could be turned off in the Factory Settings page.

    Ok! Many thanks

So I have to press up/down keys on SWC to switch between Kpa and Bar?
up/down keys, not volume up/down, right?

  • @Mcgyver83 We are wondering if you could access the veihcle settings in the dashboard like to the following post.

  • @Support Dasaita going to check.

  • I don't have the car veichle setting menu mentioned in the link above.

Looks like my car has only KPA unit.
When I use an OBD adapter and a dedicated app on my smarthpone, I see BAR pressure but looks like is the app that does conversion.

  • @Mcgyver83 Sorry that our head unit could just indicate the data that it receive but could not change the unit of OEM TPMS. We could just change the settings of after-market TPMS, hope you could understand.
