Hi guys, i bought a Dasaita 12 in january and i chose this one only for the optical output, but the output volume is really low compared to RCAs (that are noisy af in the background). I use it with an Audison Bit One.1.
Is there any chance to increase it? Thank you so much!
@Andrea Spagnoli We have reflected to the manufacturer and once getting their reply, they will let you know. We are wondering if you shot a video to demonstrate the situation that you mentioned.
@Support Dasaita thank you for the reply! Sorry, I can't record a video with my phone connected to the car unfortunately. A thing that i noticed is that the volume is low with Spotify, but really high with voicecalls, both in Android Auto. On the phone is everything okay, i have no problems also with an Atoto in my friend's car. The problem started with the last update on the Dasaita G12! :(
@Andrea Spagnoli We are wondering if you could go to Settings > About Machine and send us your current Build Number and MCU, in the meanwhile, go to Factory Settings > volume and send us a screenshot of this page.
Third-party apps often cannot achieve exactly the same volume levels as the system or other apps due to differences in their audio processing algorithms and how they interact with the device's hardware. Each app may handle audio output differently, resulting in variations in volume levels. Additionally, system-level controls and restrictions may also affect the maximum volume output of third-party apps.
@Support Dasaita i update everything, the firmware is the 20240322 and the MCU version is V4.12b. It doesn't make any sense that this depends on the app i'm using, as before this 20240322 update everything was ok, there also was a difference in the volume between RCAs and optical, but it was a little difference!
I also tried to turn up volumes in factory settings, but they only change for RCAs and not optical audio.
Here you are some photos of versions and volume levels, hope you'll solve this big problem, or at least explain me how to roll back to the previous version, as i tried but no chance to install the january 2024 build
I want to add that this problem Is also present with USB audio and Car play, not only with Android Auto. Voice calls on the other hand are really loud for some reason, so i'm really confident it's a software problem!
Please, solve this problem ASAP, i love my Dasaita so much, but this is so limiting for me!
@Andrea Spagnoli Here is the firmware released on 20240111, you could scroll back the version and check if your situation is different. Await for your prompt reply.
@Support Dasaita thank you for the reply! I see no firmware link, but also, how can i install it? Do i have to put update.zip file in an USB stick and just update or what? Thank you
@Andrea Spagnoli

@Support Dasaita thank you! I downgraded the firmware and It IMMEDIATELY started working properly! Both RCAs and Optical out have a much higher volume, still with no distortion. Finally omg!
Please fix this in the next update, thank you!
@Andrea Spagnoli We are testing the next version now, thank you for your suggestion. We are wondering if you could spare some time to leave a full-star review or feedback on the following item link.
