@Support Dasaita
Apps I am missing are: Mirroring, Picture, DLNA, AUX In, Carbitlink, F-CAM, Google Play, YouTube, Google, Google PlayStore. There may be others that I've not come across yet.
Is there an easy way to add these to the software menu pages? rather than having to re-install the apps?
@Iain Sherrit Please go to Factory Settings > enter 126 > Apps then enable the factory apps.
Go to Apps in the Settings > all apps and enable the 3rd party apps.
@Support Dasaita Hi, I checked the Mirroring and DLNA settings and they were already Enabled. I enabled YouTube and that also is showing in the Software menu pages. Some of the other apps have re-appeared without me doing anything.
As I started to check the rest of the missing apps, the screen started flashing on and off and giving the error message "Launcher3 - keeps stopping". If I get it into the settings screen it is stable.
I've tried to attach a video showing the flashing screen but not sure if you can see it.

I wondered if it might be the G12(20240513) firmware so downgraded to G12(20240322) (MCU is 4.11_1) , unit is still flashing the main menu. Attached current 'About' info.
I've asked this before but didnt get an answer; when applying a firmware update, should the "wipe data and format the flash" be selected? I've never used this option as I wasnt sure of the consequences.
@Support Dasaita Could the "Launcher3" app be corrupt and need reinstalling? Can this be sent to me?
@Support Dasaita Applied MCU (4.12b) but this didnt clear the 'flashing' main menu.
Found a fix however; accessed the Apps - Launcher3 and selected the option to delete the cache and data. This fixed the 'flashing' main menu and also rebuilt all the software pages.
Applied the G12(20240513) update; this caused the main menu widgets for NAVI/MUSIC/RADIO to disappear (no loss of software pages. Was able to find the missing widgets and get back to the original appearance.
Head unit now on MCU 4.12b and firmware G12(20240513)
So far seems stable, I'll carry out more testing.
@Support Dasaita Following the updates I applied above, I can now also see the OBD2 device in Bluetooth and have successfuly paired it with Torque.
Not sure if it was the MCU 4.12b that has cleared this problem as I had tried all the other options (Bluetooth and firmware updates) but its working now.
