Several issues with G12 + 2014 Toyota Corolla L


  • Hello, I'm excited to start using the G12 unit on my vehicle. I need your help to resolve a couple of issues:
    1. Internet keeps dropping

    2. Canbus factory only has Toyota Camry/Rav4. All the factory settings for the CanBus are unresponsive. (SimpleSafe RP5-TY-001)

    3. The G12 unit doesn't show the car door open, close etc. Is this a car problem or an incorrect configuration?

    4. Android Auto keeps taking over screen by automatically connecting to my phone via bluetooth. How to stop this?



  • I have a 2014 Toyota tundra and my can is says the same thing. Basically the only thing that works on the steering wheel is volume and skip. Phone is a no go. Also I lost the lock and unlock beeper and can't find a setting to turn it on. Hopefully we can get some answers. 


  • @Bala Swaminathan 1.Please verify if you have connected the wifi antenna on the backside;

    2. Make sure that you have connected the Canbus box;

    3. Select CanBus option to 8, and Car typle to Toyota Camry then reboot the head unit;

    4.Disable the background connection on the Android auto Settings page.

     


  • @Chris Justice Please send us photo of front and backside of the OEM head unit so that we could check if the head unit is compatible with your car.




  • @Chris Justice Please change the Type in the canbus settings page and then check if the issue could be resolved or not.
