[CHR 2019], [G12] Several sound problems with a Dasaita G12

  • Hi,

After installing the car radio, I am having problems with the sound.

    I have the JBL system.

    • A constant frying sound is heard, only when the car radio is on. This sound is very similar when you turn the volume all the way up (e.g. soundbar, PC speaker, car radio as well).
    • The sound is much too loud at "1" volume, how to reduce this?
    • The balance or fader functionality does not work correctly.
    • My rear amp no longer produces bass, bass in general is absent. This happened following the update

    Version: QCM6125_20240513-1530

    MCU: mtch_ha4Z_v4.11_1

Can you resolve these issues please?

    Sincerely,

  • @Oosman NOORAH Could you please go to Car > Factory Settings > enter 126 and send us a screenshot of the Voice page? We would like to diagnose accodingly.

  • @Support Dasaita I have attached the photos below.

    Can you help me ?

  • @Oosman NOORAH Could you please send us a video to demonstrate the situation that you mentioned? Normally, if the factory voice set "0", there will be no sound.

  • @Oosman NOORAH,

I had this same issue, it was actually two seperate issues. One of the pins on the main harness was bent and either not making contact or making contact in the pin hole next to the one it was supposed to be going into. Once fixed, the hum went away. There is still a very faint white noise that can only be heard if nothing is playing.

I also had to set the AMP level to -15db in the factory settings to fix the high volume issue.

  • @Jonathan Blackwell We are wondering if your car has OEM amplifier. If yes, you could add RCA adapter to improve the situation.

  • @Jonathan Blackwell Where do you set the AMP level in the factory settings? I'm experiencing a similar issue with my G12 unit.

  • @Jonathan Blackwell

    Désolé pourbla reponse tardive.

Je vais verifier comme vous l'avez évoqué.

    En vous remerciant.
