Is there a way to keep YouTube audio playing after reversing and not having to hit the play button to resume?
I figured there may be some way because ever so often, when the backup cam pops up, the Youtube App is minimised to the right bottom corner and the audio keeps playing at a lower volume - as I expect should be the case. After reversing it re-opens back in full screen and continues playing.
Those instances are very rare and most times, the app pauses the audio when the back up cam pops up, and I need to manually resume playing audio when the YouTube app reappears.
@Aidon Shearman We would like to tell you that it's a normal issue, but we will forward to the engineer to see if it could improve in the coming firmware.
Your understanding will be appreciated.
Sounds good. Thank you. My devices are PX9 Vivid/Scout 10.
@Aidon Shearman Sorry that we don't have PX9 Vivid/Scout 10 head unit, and we would like to tell you that Youtube Audio while backing up/ reversing could not be improve in the Android 10 version yet.
Hello,
So sorry, I meant the PX6. Please see below:
@Aidon Shearman Sorry to tell you that our current version of the Android 10 software is relatively stable, and we do not plan to release further updates for this version. We hope you can understand. However, we will incorporate your requested improvements in the Android 12 and Android 13 software.
Unfortunate but I understand. Hopefully it is not forgotten if an update is to come in the future. Also, when using the Youtube App on Vivid, you need to hit play twice to initially start a video playing. In Max10 it would only need it once like any other platform.
Thank you.
@Aidon Shearman Thank you, we will reflect to the vivid engineer and let them know the issue.
