Wireless carplay just stays on the connecting screen. Does not connect any more. Wired Carplay does not connect either. I am running Vivid 11 with 20240604 firmware.
What are the best settings for this? All I care about is the car radio and car play.
Should wifi tethering be turned on or off?
Should my phone be connected to the car wifi?
Sometimes (a few months ago, when Carplay worked better) the phone connects to the car wifi, but the phone could not access internet via the phone cellular network. What is the best way for this to work?
How can I get my phone CarPlay to connect via wifi (or even wired) 100% reliably?
@John Doe
Do you mean that your issue has worsened over the past few months? Please note that while you are using CarPlay, apps outside of CarPlay cannot access the internet as CarPlay occupies the Wi-Fi connection.
To troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:
- Go to "General" on your phone and forget the Zlink.
- Then, go to Bluetooth and delete the Carkit name.
- On the stereo, go to "Apps and Notifications" and clear all the Bluetooth cache.
- Reboot the stereo and check if the connection is restored.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Hi, please I have a problem with my Dasaita unit, it barely turned a year old, the CarPlay only wants to connect through the cable, it does not work wirelessly, and the bluetooth sound without the carplay is sounding really bad, I updated the version to the latest and the problem still continues, I can't find where the SKU number is, but here is some other information: Amazon order number 112-3559219-9509802, model PX6, Serial number C20C4772A11448C4, Android 11 version,
