Hi,
I recently purchased a G12 for my 2015 Toyota Rav4 in August 2024. I completed the installation and verified that the steering wheel controls, radio, etc. were working properly but having an issue getting Zlink to connect to my phone consistently.
To get CarPlay to work, I need to do a factory reset every time I turn my car. If not, Zlink will continuously give me the green loading circle and never connect. Additionally, about half of the time I will turn my car off and Zlink will not connect back to my phone, requiring me to do another factory reset.
Attaching my latest software updates. Based on other posts, seems like I may need to update something but wanted support to confirm that is the case. Thanks!

Regarding to your issue, we suggest that you can try to update the System&MCU firstly.

Tips:
Step1.
Please download above update file via your computer/laptop firstly.
Step2.
Please format the USB drive to FAT32 Format.
Step3.
Please copy the file “update.zip”&“hmcu.img” to the root directory of USB drive.
Step4.
Please insert USB drive into the unit via USB cable.
Step5.
Please go Settings > System > System updates/MCU updates to start the update.
Tap "wipe data and format flash" and "install".
(Please note that all data on this unit needs to be wiped before doing this step, so back up important data if necessary.)
