Order Number; Purchase Date.
Here are some trouble-shootings steps for you:
Step1.
Please confirm if the Bluetooth name(CAR-KIT) and PIN number(0000) are displayed on the unit:
Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth > Device Name; PIN Number.
Step2.
Please check if the WiFi antenna is properly connected.
Step3.
Reset the Bluetooth:
Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, Mobile&Bluetooth.
Step4.
Please use another phone to test how it works.

Unfortunately Steps 1 & 3 did not work Car-Kit and 0000 pin are displayed on the stereo screen though, WiFi antenna is connected properly. I'm able to use installed apps on the stereo for music via Hotspot from the IPhone, but still no full Bluetooth feature for IPhone or Android. The Bluetooth option says it's connected for a short period of time on the IPhone, then immediately disconnects and connects again followed by disconnecting. Only thing that partially worked was a Android phone which did allow CarPlay only with a charging cable connected to the usb cable provided with the stereo (that method doesn't work with IPhone). Tried updating the firmware as well using a flash drive and downloaded from the forum to a newer version (G12 version) but still no change.

Step1.
Please download above update file via your computer/laptop firstly.
Step2.
Please format the USB drive to FAT32 Format.
Step3.
Please copy the file “hmcu.img” to the root directory of USB drive.
Step4.
Please insert USB drive into the unit via USB cable.
Step5.
Please go Settings > System > MCU updates to start the update.
Tap "wipe data and format flash" and "install".
(Please note that all data on this unit needs to be wiped before doing this step, so back up important data if necessary.)

Updated MCU, Still no fix and has now caused the stereo to completely have no audio... made things a lot worse.. Also the reverse camera no longer works

The only other update I've tried was the G13 firmware after installing and realizing the CarPlay/Bluetooth was not working, then reverted to the G12 firmware provided on the forum. Amazon description said it was G12 and I didn't realize that at the time of going to the G13 firmware was not correct for the stereo.

Upon checking, the item you received is G12(Android12)
Please note that it doesn't support to do the mandatory installation for other Android system(Android13) because it will cause the potential damage to the machine and make some functions cannot work.
Please try to revert back to the original Android system with the latest firmware&MCU.

Thank you! Audio and reverse camera have been restored very appreciative for that! But unfortunately still no Bluetooth/Carplay available.... Would it be more convenient for me to purchase the G13 version of the stereo directly from this website and return G12 Amazon version to potentially avoid this Bluetooth/Carplay issue that's occuring?
