Dasaita Vivid10 switch to Bluetooth music

  • Hi Support,

I've just updated to the latest firmware (telenav_vivid_rk3399_10.0_ota(20240126)) in my PX6 unit and had an update to the latest Vivid/Scout itself (7.6.4551).
I have configured my HU to connect to my phone through WIFI as my phone is set to become a WIFI hotspot every time it connects to its Bluetooth.

    Issues starting to show...
    - intermittent reboots while driving
    - when I'm listening to my Spotify and my phone receives an SMS or my phone has any notification, the HU revert its music connection to 'Bluetooth Music' hence cutting my Spotify music. It is very annoying, as I need to switch back to Spotify again every time I receive a notifications on my phone.
    - I went back to an old firmware (telenav_vivid_rk3399_10.0_ota(20231023)), it still acts the same way as above when the latest Vivid/Scout update is applied.

    My guess is...
    - this is not the correct firmware for my PX6 in my Toyota Prado??
    - everytime a new update of Vivid/Scout (7.6.4551) have this issue??

Do please . help on how to rectify this or advise which is the right firmware for my HU or which Vivid/Scout update is suitable for this.

My order number is 8118012439445565firmware & MCU ver

    Regards,
    Alvin

  • Just touching base on this issue again as a lot of people is experiencing this bluetooth music switch.

I've seen on one of the thread that this is fixed in a new firmware Vivid11 (ota_20241021) based on one of the user explaning his workaround:
"On my phone in the Bluetooth pairing settings for the Dasaita radio, I disabled "Media audio" (A2DP)".

Can there be a new firmware for VIVID10 that has this fix as well?
