I recently purchased and installed the G13 (model HA2220H2) for my 2015 Tundra. At first, the only working SWC buttons were vol. +, vol. -, Up, and Down. After reading other posts describing similar issues I went into Factory Settings > other and changed "Steering wheel keys assign" from SWC Key -> CAN Key. After reboot and key study I now have more of the buttons working. The only buttons still not working properly are Left, Right, Enter, and Back.
Left and Right buttons do not register at all, but the odd thing is, Enter and Back buttons immediately close the key study opening the reverse camera (like I put the vehicle in reverse). Otherwise, the reverse camera functions exactly as it should when I'm reversing.
Toyota's wiring diagram shows these four SWC buttons (left, right, enter, and back) all coming off the same signal wire (SW3 / pin #24 on Toyota connector J139). The matching Pin #24 on the CB004 connector attaches to a blue wire leading to the canbus box. For this reason, I suspect the issue is being caused by the canbus, settings for canbus, or a miswired CB004 harness.
Also, Factory Setting > Canbus is currently set to 08 TOYOTA_CAMRY&RAV4(Simple).
Please advise and help me resolve this issue.
