May i know what music player you're using?
And do you mention the bluetooth phone call or making phone calls on Carplay/Android Auto?
All the players I use... Spotify, local music saved on the unit, Some radio app... calls I get through Bluetooth.. I don't use Android Auto.

Could you please go to Settings>About machine and provide the following version information:
1.A clear photo of the stereo's Built Number.
2.A clear photo of the stereo's MCU version.

1.Please download the document through the link via your computer/laptop.(Do not rename the file )
2.Format the USB drive before copying the hmcu.img file to it, then insert the it to the USB cable.

Ok, I just did... this seems to be an older version 
Also, it didn't resolve the issue... still the same
