When I have audio playing, whether from Bluetooth Music or the Music app, it turns off when I open Google Maps, then comes back when I exit Google Maps. This doesn't happen with Waze or the built in navigation app. I am not using Android Auto or Carplay.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

How to stop Google Maps from stopping music?
Select Settings to open the settings panel. Choose Navigation in the Getting Around section. Look for a setting called Mute state in the Sound & voice section

That is not it, all audio stops as soon as google maps opens, regardless of mute settings, then plays again when leaving google maps.
