Rear view camera not working

  • When I changed the photo below from PX6(1024x600) android9 MCU MTCE_HA_v3.75b_1 to android12, the camera stopped working. What is the cause?

  • @osamu nonaka Thank you for your contact. Please note that the PX6 can't be updated to android 12.

Have you bought the G12 unit? Please provide your order ID so we could better help. Thank you

  • I bought a G12 unit, not an update. Is this the order ID SP-DA5688?

  • I'm curious, did the camera work fine before switching to the G12 unit? Might help narrow down if it's a hardware or software thing.

  • @osamu nonaka

Have you tried to update the firmware by yourself ? We found that this order #SP-DA5688 is G13 version .

Regarding to the factory backup camera, please check if you 've connected the CANBUS and Audio output &Cam cable .See the pictures for reference.

Regarding to the steering wheel control, please update the below MCU 4.14e :

  • I connect cancvbs and canvin from canbus. I will check it. And I will try to update the MCU. Thank you for your advice.

  • Thanks to you, the steering remote control worked. However, the rear view camera does not work. The connection is different between the photo you sent and the photo in the manual. Should I connect the CANBUS to CanVin and then connect the camera to Auxin? Sorry for asking multiple questions.

  • Thank you for your help. I received a reply saying that I purchased the G13, but I think that the product I purchased is the one at the URL below. It says Android 12 and G12, but what is the difference between that and the G13?

  • @osamu nonaka Hi there, the G12 is out of stock so we have sent you a G13 version.

As to the rear camera, please let us know if you could go to Settings > Car > Factory Settings (enter 126) > Canbus choose option 61.

Please note that you should connect the Canbus box as it retains the OEM camera. Then you need to connect the Camera cable with yellow plug to the Camvin cable on Audio output &Cam cable so as to ensure that the radio will receive the back view signal. See the photo above.

If still no luck, we assume that we may need you to send us a few photos to demonstrate the wirings on the back side.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

  • Thank you for your reply.
The Canbus is set to 61.
Should I connect the yellow Canbus plug to the output CAM VIN and the camera plug to Video IN?

  • @osamu nonaka We are wondering if your connection is the same as follow but no luck to get the rear camera worked.

  • So I just need to connect the yellow Canbus plug to the output CAM VIN?

  • Is this connection correct?

  • @osamu nonaka

Just would like to confrim is the factory camera o aftermarket camera?

If  it is factory, you don't need to connect the AUX -V cable.

If it is aftermarket camera, please see this picture for reference.

To better help, please send your full connection and the screen showing when you put the car in reverse to this e-address :team@dasaita.com

    Thank you!

  • Hello, this is an aftermarket camera. I wired it like this at first. The power source is the Reverse Lamp. But it didn't show anything. That's why I contacted you. I sent you a photo of it in reverse before. I'll return the wiring to the way it is in the picture and check. Thank you for your advice.

  • @osamu nonaka
