Hello. I am having an oddly-specific failure scenario for the steering wheel controls on my PX6 Vivid 11 head unit. This unit is installed in a 2013 Toyota Tundra, and I have had it for a couple of years. All features, including SWC worked without problems until I got a new iPhone (iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 18.2.1). Ever since then, if I connect the phone with bluetooth I will sometimes have a problem where most or all of the steering wheel controls stop working. It does not always stop working immediately once I connect via bluetooth, but eventually I will have the problem. Most often, all buttons will stop working, except for the Volume - button. This happens both in the Scout interface, and also when using ZLink for CarPlay. The failure is persistent when I try to restart the head unit through the menus, the only way to restore the function of the steering wheel buttons is if I pull the fuse for a hard reset. This problem does not happen if I do not pair with blueooth, and I can use wired ZLink for CarPlay without problems also.
I have updated to the latest Vivid 11 update for PX6 telenav_vivid_rk3399_11.0_ota(20240913), and reprogrammed all of the SWC buttons, but the problem keeps happening. I really would like to be able to use bluetooth. Is there something else I should try? MCU update? Is there a bluetooth driver that can be updated? Thank you.
