We are wondering what software you installed.
Is it firmware or MCU?
Could you please send the software link to us?
Besides, please confirm with us if the car tail light can work before you installed new software.
If possible, please remove our unit to see if the car tail light can work.
Regarding to the black screen issue, please try to use a Pin/Paperclip to press and hold the RST Button for 15 seconds to enter the recovery interface to do the factory reset.
(Tap "Wipe data/factory reset" > "Factory data reset" > "Reboot the system now".)
