2017 Toyota Tundra speaker Sound problem (Model: QCM6125)

    Dasaita Android 13 Car Stereo for Toyota Tundra 2014-2021 with Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto, 10.2" Touch Screen Head Unit, GPS Radio, 6G RAM 64G ROM, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G WiFi, 4G LTE

     

    After installing the headunit. took about 45min. love the plud n play

    radio worked great. then i noticed the radio sound cutting in and out on the passenger side of the truck.

    i have tried using the Mixer to see if the speakers are working and its not picking up any speaker.

    i have no Amp in the truck.

     

    Is there an update i can install on the radio ?

    Hello.
    Thanks for your message.

    Please firstly check if you have connected the speaker cables properly to ensure no loose connection.

    In order to confirm your current version, please go Settings > About Machine, 
    then provide the following picture: Build Number; MCU version.


  • All conection are good. I have removed the radio multiple times to make sure all conections are good.

    here are a few picturees of the info you requested.

    Please update the Firmware & MCU to the latest version via the link below,here are some tips to help you get it done:

    ①G13 Version:Make Sure your unit is QCM6125 Andorid 13

    1.Download the documents ① through the link on your computer/laptop.

    (Do not rename and Unzip the file)

    2.Format the USB drive(FAT32 Format)before copying the Update.zip file to it, then insert it to the USB cable,and it will pop out the firmware updating tips on the screen.

    (Tick the option"Wipe data and format flash")

    After completing system update,it will display "20250226"here,please check it here.

    If the issue still happen,please kindly get back to us.


  • Hello. That update did not work. It made it worse. Sound still cutting in and out on the passenger side. Ill be driving and everything is fine then a few min later it cuts out. wait a little and it turns back on.

    Thank you. but what about the Warenty and i only have till the 7th to return on amazon. Is Dasaita still going to warenty the item if this doesnt fix the problem and replace the unit. ?

    its been about a week sence i installed the replacement wire harness. it seams like that fixed the problem. all speakers are working 100% of the time. Thanks for you work on helping me troubleshoot the problem. i also left an Amazon Review. Thanks
