Simple question regarding the External TPMS system, SKU: TAIYA04, how are the batteries in the external sensors replaced?
Refer the 1st pic for shots of the sensors (both sides) and the tools provided with the supplied kit that appear to be relevant.
Next, here is the relevant section of the supplied instructions:
Look at the right hand side of the page, item (c). An open ended spanner is shown undoing the sensor cap. I think this refers to an older type of sensor where the underside had a hexagonal fitting to permit the use of spanner. Not so with the current type (refer Pic #1).
Please advise with pictures / video how to remove and replace the installed sensor battery. One of the hand tools in Pic #1 (centre top) appears to have a shape matching the underside of the sensor but it's an outline only and does not provide a mating surface.
I don't need to replace the batteries right now but I'd rather understand how the unit works before I get to the point where I get caught short.
