Car Control App Change Setting?

  I have a MAX10 Sliver For 4Runner 2014 to 2018 and it comes with the Car Control app for changing the settings of the car. It always pops up when doors open, etc. but I can't change any of the settings. Is there something special I have to do to get this to work?

  @Randy T just ensure you have the correct canbus configured in factory settings....would you mind to publish a photo of the settings you mentioned that you are not allowed to change?
