I have Dasaita Android 11, Vivid11 firmware. It came loaded with "without amp" setting in the Canbus. My Jeep Cherokee has no amp. I'm getting no volume. This is on radio, music apps, YouTube, ect... When I set it to "with amp" in the Canbus settings and reboot the sound is there but there is a pause in the sound every 12 seconds. I go back and set it to "without amp" and hit apply the sound is fine even after a reboot. But when I power off the vehicle the sound is gone. I hope this issue is not hard to understand. This radio is nothing but a door stop if I can't listen to any sound properly.
@Chillmiester Gabriel are you sure you dont have any amp on your Jeep? Which model and version of Jeepo is yours?
I don't believe so. It came with a Uconnect 8.4 and it does have surround sound. It's a 2016 Jeep Cherokee North which I believe is the same as a Trailhawk.
@Chillmiester Gabriel according to Jeep specs if 6 speakers and 5inch touch screen then no amplifier....but if uconnect 8.4 and 9 speakers it has amplifier.....so in your case you must activate the amplifier....and then we have to figure out what happen with the intermittent sound.
I recommend you to check your wires are firmly connected...as an intermittent sound means signal to amplifier is on and off....check it well
I have these 2 cable left over from my uconnect that does not connect to the Dasaita head unit..

I have activated the amp in the Canbus setting. That is where the pause in the audio happens.
