I purchased the g13 2010-2019 head unit. The original oem brackets on my JBL head unit do not match any of the installation pictures. I received two recantuglar mounting plates with the kit. Neither of them work with the oem brackets I have, I have a gap of ~12mm to the dash mounting point.

Sorry for that you’ve had this bad experience,actually it is the first time that we've encountered this kind of brackets,it may not suitable.we have sent it to the engineer to look into this,we will get back to you when we get response.

I'm having the same issue, the 2011 toyota 4runner brackets doesnt go well with the Dasaita head unit. There is a gap between the bracket and the mounting point while trying to screw it in.
Another issue I'm seeing is that the black clip on the OEM head unit cannot be transferred over to the Dasita one as the screw hole position doesn't match.
On a side note, while hooking up the connectors my steering wheel panel switches are not getting power. They are not lighting as they used to do with OEM unit, and on Dasaita key mapping settings they are not registered either
