SIM card for Dasaita G12 not working

  • @Saad Zaman Nope it is basically the exact same after the update. It shows when I go into the sim settings and I know its recognizing that its a verizon sim. It even tells me that the service is connected. However something is blocking my access to use the wireless signal.

  • @Rudy Fierro That super sucks. Now I'm wondering if that's even worth it.

  • @Rudy Fierro

    Hello.
    Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
For your information, it requires to wipe out the data to ensure the software can run normally before updating.
Hope you can kindly understand it.

In order to forward your case to our technician, could you please tell us whether your Verizon SIM card can work well on your phone?

Besides, we are wondering if you have another Verizon SIM card
If YES, please test how it goes
Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.

  • @Rudy Fierro Hello,
In case it can help you, In my case I had to configure an APN. In cell phones there are SIM cards that are configured automatically, but in my G13 unit I had to do what I told you following the instructions of the SIM provider. Once it was done, I had internet connection. What I haven't tested was voice calls, but the internet works fine.
    Best regards!

  • @Support Dasaita I dont know because my phone uses an esim and I requested a new sim with a dedicated line just for my head unit to run off. Thats why I was sent a physical sim card only.

  • @JoMaRS How do I get the APN? do I call Verizon and ask them for it?

  • @Rudy Fierro

    Hello.

Could you please try to test if Verizon SIM card can work well on your phone?

And please check if Verizon SIM card has the sufficient phone bill to support calls/internet.

Besides, please provide the following picture to us:
    Settings > Network & internet > SIMs.
So that we can forward it to our technician for further advice.
    Thanks in advance.

  • @Rudy Fierro Yes, I think that would be best, although you can do a google search to see if you can locate your country's APN settings on Verizon. I did it that way for my carrier in Spain and they had a tutorial for it. Verizon will probably have a tutorial.
