I just installed the stereo in my car last weekend it was a newer version of the one we had that bricked during an update. Everything seems to work but it does not detect reverse. If i open the front cam app I can switch to the back camera and that works. I did go into settings and make sure reverse detection was enabled.

I dont have the original stereo I took that out a few years ago i had a older version of this one i just boght again the serial number on the old one was 78edb2ad27ae5b2d and was the px6 model.
the new one i just got is
Make sure the Camera cable is connected to the CAM IN cable,the front camera cable is no need to connected.
It is connected to the camera in. as I said the camera works fine but when put in reverce the backup camera does not come on. I can go to the front cam application and manually tell it to switch to the back cam and it will work. I did go into settings and make sure reverse detection is enabled as well.

For the factory reverse camera ,please notice to connect the Cam Vin cable for Audio Output cable.
If you connect the F-cam RCA cable for AUX input, the camera will show on the F-cam app.

I think there may be some confusion here. The camera works fine. My issue is when I put into reverse the unit is not detecting the vehicle is in reverse. Nither screen will show the back up camera. I know I got the camera in right on the unit because I can go into F-cam app and select the back up camera and I can see it working just fine. So the unit knows that is the back cam. I went into settings and made sure back up cam detection was enabled. However from my understanding is that would only switch the unit to display the back up camera when detected. I dont have that showing or the factory screen up top when I put in reverse which I belive runs through the can bus. but the screen is working through the tft driver because it does show similar to the factory display.

Just would like to confrim the current reverse camera in the vehicle is factory or aftermarket?
The current camera is factory I have not installed the other camera yet was going to make the a front camera after we figure out this issue

Please confirm whether the backup page can be viewed in the front camera APP only after shifting into reverse gear.
If yes,please try to swtich the yellow RCA to check how is it going ? To better check if there is any mistake in the label.
Coul you please send a video of showing the Dasait screen when you put the car in reverse and your full connection so we could send to technical support?
