Microphone issues!! Plz help



  • @Support Dasaita il problema c'è sia con microfono esterno collegato e sia con microfono esterno scollegato.

    Io credo che entrambi i microfoni lavorano insieme. Sono entrambi attivi

  • Hello, I had to remove the 13.3 screen to make some connections behind the double din.  After putting things back together the screen does not respond touch.  I pressed the reset but still no response.  Any idea what I need to do? My unit is the vivid 10 universal 13.3PX6 4g+64g 

    Also, are there updates for this unit?  I purchased in in 2022.

  • @Support Dasaita Yes, thank you!  The mouse worked but I had to do a factory hard reset.  All is well now!  Are there any updates for this unit?  I've had it nearly 3 years, I haven't done any updates at all.


  • I've also been having this issue for a few months now, the only fix I've seen anyone report is to take apart the unit and desolder the internal mic, which seems crazy.

  • @Support Dasaita  On my G13 the call quality is poor and after a few tests I've noticed that the microphone used is the internal one, even though I have the external one connected. Some videos on YouTube show the option to choose which microphone to use in the settings, but I can't find that option on mine. I don't know if this is the solution to the poor call quality, but it should be an improvement.

    Please make sure the mic is connected to the correct position.

    Please update the Firmware & MCU to the latest version via the link below,here are some tips to help you get it done:

    1.Download the documents ①&② through the link on your computer/laptop.

    (Do not rename and Unzip the file)

    2.Format the USB drive(FAT32 Format)before copying the Update.zip hmcu.img file to it, then insert it to the USB cable,and it will pop out the firmware updating tips on the screen.

    (Tick the option"Wipe data and format flash")

    3.MCU updated GO:Settings>System>MCU updates.


  • @Milton Nascimento i video che avrai visto saranno antecedenti agli ultimi aggiornamenti. Proprio dopo gli ultimi due nemmeno sul mio g12 non è più possibile trovare la voce per attivare o disattivare il MIC esterno dato che vorrei fare delle prove perché in chiamata l'interlocutore non sente bene la mia voce 


  • OK, I've been trying different things and still having poor microphone quality on phone calls.  I replaced the microphone itself and located it close to the original microphone location.  Still poor quality.  I tested it both through carplay and through the Head unit software.  Same issues.

    Can you confirm that I have the latest software versions?
