I just received the carplay dongle https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B075B7T4W2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to use with the android headunit Dasaita MAX 6. The dongle arrived today and I cannot make it work with the headunit and my iphone 12 (with ios 15)
First of all, the package contained only the dongle, no instructions, no software. So I just plugged it in the USB port of my headunit and the other end on my iphone12. Nothing happened.
Then I started looking online and the software (apk) link in the amazon page from where I purchased the dongle (https://www.sendspace.com/file/byfv4V) is not working anymore:
Possible reasons include:
- File date limit has expired.
- File was not successfully uploaded.
It is not possible to restore the file. Please contact the uploader and ask them to upload the file again.
Continued searching for autobox apk I managed to find it somewhere, I installed it and retried connecting the dongle. Headunit recognized the dongle and prompted to connect the phone to it. I did it but it doesn't seem to recognize it. I retried with different USB->iPhone cables both original Apple and aftermarket. It doesn't work.
Please advise and please provide me the correct apk for my dongle and headunit.
