MAX11

  • Hi,

    I just discovered, that I had bought a MAX11-Unit for My Mazda CX5 2012.

    Ordered from Ebay Germany.
    https://www.ebay.de/itm/353731530676?fits=Model%3ACX-5&hash=item525c0acfb4:g:B3EAAOSwxPBhbkFn

(Android 11 is not mentioned in the discription.)

Model-Name from the Carton and the Bag --> HA5336A-MAX-11-CP-H
(I first noticed this after the problems occured... )

Accidentially I did not notice, that it already has Android 11. I also took some photos.

So I accidentially downgraded the Firmware to Android 10 and now the device does not boot anymore.

After the "Andorid" Screen comes the "moving" Mazda-Boot-Logo.

    Then nothing further happens.

Can you please provide me an information, how to Information how to get my device back working again?

At this moment I am unable to get into recovery-mode.

The "old" Procedures are not working.

    ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPQgV_55Rkk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5RgatweiP8 )

    Thank you in advance!

Edit: Sorry, I Forgot to set a proper Topic...

  • Why did you downgrade it?

Upgrading/downgrading android versions are not a direct process and the recovery partition must be upgraded/downgraded first.

Dasaita does not provide a way to upgrade/downgrade your recovery partition

  • @ThoWoKi please check the MAX11 link firmware

  • @Quick Yuan Thank you very much!

I managed to install this Firmware by using a Recovery which is bootable from SD-Card.
    Everything works fine again! :)

    This XDA-Thread helped a lot.

  • In case someone runs into the issue, that the Bootloader on a Android 11 Device is not accessible by pushing the RST-Button.

It looks like, that the procedure has changed slightly.

You need to press the RST Button for more than 15 Seconds.
The blink of the "Softkeys" does not matter.

If you push RST long enough, the Device will reboot and the "Boot-Logo" with "Android 11" will turn blue. (Normally it's yellow).

As soon you see the blue Android-11 logo, release the RST-Button and you will get into the recovery.

  • @Iker Gomez
    Sorry for the late reply...

I had issues setting the Time-Zone.
It was stuck to "China" and not changeable.
The Timezones for Europe were selectable, but were not applied.
I also tried to set "UTC+1", but it didn't work either.

    So I wanted to downgrade.

  • @ThoWoKi i think you have an early version of Android 11....

you can downgrade....and you were on the correct xda site.

If you are familiarized with Rockhip flash tools....

  • @Quick Yuan hello

can you explain what you did step by step
i tried instructions provided by the thread you mentioned with no success

I have max 11 I accidentally installed max10 driver , and I'm stuck at logo bootloop

  • @Gaby Rouss
I could recover my Device with help of this XDA-Thread:

    https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mtcd-e-android-10-upgrade-using-official-free-tools.4123933/

    microSD-Card-Method.

You will need to get to the back.
You will also need an "older" microSD-Card with max 8GB storage.

    Try the follwing:
    - Insert the prepared microSD-Card to the
    - Long-Press the RST-Button for ~15-30 sec. (In my case the bootloader finally came up)

The Bootloader should come up and you should be able to install the image from microSD-Card.

Sorry, I currently don't remember, which Image I used exactly. But it was an Android-10 Image.

  • @ThoWoKi I'm still having issues with my px6 unit. I tried the steps above and it doesn't work for me. Can you provide additional details on what image was used in your SD card? Thank you!
