I have seen some forum posts regarding retaining the factory GPS vs using the supplied GPS that comes with the Dasaita. I was ready to drop about $30 on an adapter and harness when I learned you can remove the clock assembly above the stereo (2 screws and tilt it out) and slide the supplied GPS unit right up next to the OEM GPS unit under the dashboard. Just stick it to the metal bracket using the adhesive mount. There is a wiring harness with a bite connector mount you can slide out of the way for easier access.
No problem getting GPS signal. Save yourself some money.
