Bluetooth audio dropping out (interferance at congested areas, traffic lights)


  • I have a  Dasaita Carplay Stereo for Toyota 4Runner 2010 2011 2012 2013 Radio Upgrade Android 11 Head Unit GPS Navigation 10.25 inch Multimedia Music Video Player 4G 64G PX6 DSP Android Auto Bluetooth 5.0.  

    Bluetooth  audio  dropping out    (interferance at  congested areas, traffic lights)   both during Android Auto Wireless connection via zlink and using only Bluetooth connection to bluetooth app.   Usually conecting via Spotify,  but issue is independent of source or phone.  Several different Pixels, 5a, 6a, 7a, 8  all exhibit the same behavior.   

    I have seen other forum  where updating software  is recommended.   Can you please provide some guideance on recommend path forward.

    Regarding to your issue, we suggest that you can try to update the firmware.

    MAX10 Version(20230302): Make Sure your unit is PX6 Andorid 10

    Specific Operation: 
    Step1. 
    Please download above update file via your computer/laptop firstly,
    then use the WinZip application to unzip the file.
    Step2. 
    Please format the USB drive to FAT32 Format. 
    Step3. 
    Please copy the file “update.zip” to the root directory of USB drive.   
    Step4. 
    Please insert USB drive into the unit via USB cable. 
    Step5. 
    Please go Settings > System > MCU updates to start the update.
